Working mostly with native timbers like rimu, he builds objects that are practical, durable, and quietly beautiful - pieces made to be used, not just looked at. With an eye for detail and a love of clean, honest design, Jude has spent years creating handcrafted work that’s as functional as it is timeless.
Out of that philosophy came the Rimu & Nail Bottle Opener. What started as a clever one-off has grown into a Kiwi classic: rimu wood paired with a solid steel nail, backed by two magnets - one to catch the cap, one to keep it stuck to the fridge. It’s part tool, part talking point, and very much built to last.
